Kathleen’s academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Political, Economic and Social Sciences and a Graduate Certificate in Media Practice, providing a valuable political and communications lens to her community organising work. She also holds a Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management.
Kathleen has a profound connection to nature, stemming from an upbringing in the world heritage-listed Blue Mountains and hands-on experience as a former bush regenerator.
