As our Senior Advocate, James brings extensive experience as a political advisor for both state and federal governments. His strong background in environmental policy fuels a particular passion for achieving conservation outcomes and tackling the leading cause of extinctions: invasive species.
Based on Kaurna Land in the Adelaide Hills, James was personally inspired to protect the natural environment after witnessing the devastating Sampson Flat Bushfire on his family farm. This experience cemented his commitment to conservation, sustainable land management and direct action on invasive species.
He holds a Bachelor of Environmental Policy and Management, as well as a Bachelor of International Development, both from the University of Adelaide.
