We have compiled evidence of threats to 18 species and ecological communities to support the listing of ‘Herbivory and environmental degradation caused by feral deer’ as a a key threatening process under the federal Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.

The Invasive Species Council was formed in 2002 to seek stronger laws, policies and programs to keep Australian biodiversity safe from weeds, feral animals and other invaders. Our focus is on prevention and early action.
