protect our wildlife
Wildlife is being pushed to extinction in our World Heritage areas and national parks.
How to help | I’m ready to donate!
Our national parks and World Heritage areas are the jewels in the crown of Australia.
These places of refuge are meant to be sanctuaries set aside for our native plants and animals to thrive. Yet night after night, feral cats, foxes and other invasive pests ravage, causing mass deaths.
In Kosciuszko, the mastacomys and stocky galaxias are trampled by hard hooves. Millions of feral cats lurk and feast on little Aussie battlers like the endangered numbat in Dryandra. Now our Tassie devils could be severely impacted by bird flu.
13 of 17 recent extinctions from invasive species were in protected places.
Years of undervaluing and underfunding have left our protected areas – our natural wonders – trampled and trashed. With the federal election looming, we must act now to save our cherished places and beloved holiday spots.
Please donate today to help us shine a spotlight on the federal government urging them to prioritise the invasive species crisis in our iconic national parks and World Heritage areas.
With your help now, we have the chance to keep our protected areas safe and the native animals and plants that call them home.
Donate now, donate for them.
Donations $2 and over are tax-deductible for Australian taxpayers. The Invasive Species Council is an Australian registered charity.
