Thea is an experienced community organiser with a background in politics and electoral campaigns, both at home and abroad.
When she first moved to Australia, she immediately fell in love with the incredible nature and biodiversity Queensland has to offer, and has now joined the fight to protect it. Thea is part of the conservation team and supports their work on fire ants and other invasive species in Queensland and Northern New South Wales. She focuses on building community support for action on invasive species and involvement with campaigns.Thea works on the land of the Jagera and Turrbal people.
