With a background in government, advocacy and policy, Imogen has brought deep strategic and policy expertise to roles in the public and not-for-profit sectors, shaping campaigns and driving bold reforms for over 20 years. Her work spans environmental protection, sustainable land and park management, heritage conservation, social justice advocacy and food system reform.
Imogen served as Chief of Staff to an ACT Minister, advised a federal parliamentary leader and led policy development at a national level with Anglicare Australia. A key focus of her work has been addressing the intersection of ecological sustainability and social justice. She is particularly passionate about practical solutions that integrate ecological restoration, sustainable agriculture and community-led action.
Imogen represented Australasia on the Civil Society Mechanism to the UN Committee on Food Security, advocating for climate-resilient food systems and worked with international agencies like the FAO. She believes in the power of public policy, collaboration and grassroots leadership to regenerate ecosystems and secure a thriving future for people and the planet. She is now focused on transformative environmental strategies that tackle key drivers of extinction – invasive species.
