About Us  |  Our people

Amber Sprunt is on a mission to create environmental change. As a marketing professional for over two decades, Amber specialises in social marketing and fundraising for small and large environmental organisations. For 15 years, she’s dedicated her skills to protecting earth’s natural systems by developing transformative growth strategies.
Amber’s expertise, gained from the academic, corporate and not-for-profit sectors, is in educating the public on environment issues, inspiring them to care and enabling community participation in initiatives for progressive, social change.

Having worked across both climate change and environment degradation
issues, Amber’s returned to her roots to protect nature, this time from the urgent and growing threat of invasive species. She is particularly interested in promoting the shared benefits of a world class, collaborative environmental biosecurity system that could be built for Australia, backed by market-based funding mechanisms and utilising social marketing to facilitate behaviour change across the country to help solve Australia’s extinction crisis.

Amber holds a Bachelor of Business Marketing (Honours). Her thesis in social marketing focused on the ethical decision making of SMEs in the context of saving water in the driest inhabited continent on Earth.

Amber works on the land of the Gumbaynggirr people.
