Andrew is a respected participant in Australia’s conservation sector. He believes in the value of involving the community in tackling complex environmental issues. He is a member of advisory committees advising the NSW and Queensland governments on biosecurity and the federal government on feral cats.
In June 2012 while the world turned its attention to the looming London Olympics former Australian champion John Landy became patron of the Invasive Species Council, channelling the focus and determination that made him a world-beater into taking on the country’s growing weed and feral animal problems.
Graeme Hamilton has a strong background in biosecurity, pest management and conservation having worked across government, not-for-profit and university sectors.
