Amplifying our impact

A bold strategy to keep nature safe from invasive species

Invasive species are the number one leading cause of loss and extinction in Australia. Australia is an invasive species hot spot. Invasive species have already caused the extinction of 43 animals. It’s predicted they could cause 85 of 100 new extinctions.

The next 18 months will see a unique convergence of events that could fast track progress toward our 2030 vision to stop invasive-led extinctions and lead a wildlife revival.

As the only national advocacy organisation dedicated to the growing threat of invasive species, we welcome you on this journey with us. Stopping invasive-led extinctions will take focus and serious new funding from governments, funding that is leveraged from caring philanthropic people like you. We can’t do this work without you.

Our plans are ambitious, because they have to be. If we are to genuinely protect and restore our native wildlife and ecosystems, then stopping the next wave of invasive species driven extinctions must be a priority. In a critical election year for Queensland and Australia, this is our moment to amplify our impact.

Please read our funding proposal ‘Amplifying our impact’, which outlines our plan to keep nature safe from invasive species.
