Alison has a background in community conservation management and facilitation, and more recently experience in volunteer coordination.
She currently brings that knowledge and skill set to support the Invasive Species Council across a range of administration related activities.
During her previous work in threatened species conservation, she remembers both the impact that Tim Low’s book ‘Our Feral Future’ had on the industry at the time of its release, and the creation of the Invasive Species Council as a brave new attempt to tackle a tough issue.
In her spare time, Alison is a strong supporter of the sport of Ultimate Frisbee, particularly in youth development.
Alison works on the land of the Darug people.
