Protect Tassie wilderness, farmers and tourism from feral deer

Tasmania needs to act fast if it is to protect its farming communities and incredible Wilderness World Heritage Area from skyrocketing numbers of feral deer.

The Invasive Species Council has prepared a strategy that presents a sound and practical way to reduce feral deer numbers from around 100,000 to less than 10,000 in ten years.

You can download the full strategy from the council’s website.

Please sign our petition asking Tasmanian Premier Peter Gutwein to urgently come up with a plan that protects the Apple Isle from growing numbers of destructive feral deer.
